UKKOR team visited by German surgeons: 23rd November, 2014

 

Steffen Schröter and his team from Tübingen in Germany visited the UK to learn about UKKOR. The Germans are planning to set up a similar registry for their osteotomy patients, which may pave the way for a future European registry. 

UKKOR successfully launched: 6th November, 2014

 

UKKOR was successfully launched on the podium at the Basingstoke knee osteotomy masterclass to an audience of 100 delegates with an interest in knee osteotomy.

UKKOR behind the camera: 1st October, 2014

 

The registry Steering Group have been spending time infront of the camera recently filming the new UKKOR information videos. Covering information about the registry, research aims, functionality tips and advice for patients, the videos are set to be a great interactive learning tool.

UKKOR wins project prize: 13th September, 2014


David Elson, was awarded 'Best Transitional Fellowship Improvement Project Poster' at this year's British Orthopaedic Association Congress in Brighton.  David documented his journey through establishing the UK Knee Osteotomy Registry and discussed his aims for research and making the registry a success.   

UKKOR Publication Policy

 

All future publications drawing conclusions from UKKOR data will be authored by the 'UKKOR research collaboration'.  Surgeons who have contributed their patients and data will be listed in the authors section, in order of contribution.  Therefore all participating surgeons will be recognised with future PubMed citable manuscripts.
