Information Governance

This page offers guidance for surgeons wishing to implement UKKOR in their own hospital who need to address the issue of information governance.

You should contact the Information Governance Officer in your hospital and pass on the patient consent form and the ISO27001 certification from Amplitude for the storage of data, both of which are available below.  These can be used to obtain approval from the Trust's Caldicott Guardian.  The response from information governance officers may vary from Trust to Trust - some are happy to approve this easily and others may ask a few questions about how patient consent is obtained.
